I am an adopted Little Girl, 8.6 lb. Yorkshire Terrier. My Daddy "D" adopted me on May 10, 2011 from the Cumberland County SPCA. I like to play catch and can throw a ball really well. I also like to sleep, especially on "D"'s Big Belly. I Can't believe 2 years have gone by and I am so happy to have my new home.

On The Menu: (Here is where I post what I am eating)

Habits: I eat twice a day, in the morning between 7 and 9 and in the evening between 6 and 8. I always eat in the kitchen in the same place. The door is closed and I am not allowed to play until I finish. I also keep a 1/4 cup of Blue Buffalo Wilderness Scrunchies in the living room by the TV with my Water in case I need a snack throughout the day. Sometimes I like to play Cleopatra and get hand fed upside down, in "D"'s lap, because I don't want to finish my dry food. From time to time I get treats for being good. One of my favorites is a little bit of Mozzarella. (My favorite food is (Chicken)

Breakfast: 1/8 cup of Blue Buffalo Wilderness with 5 drops of Wesson Oil, topped with 1/4 cup Chopped up Chicken Thighs, and for dessert: a tiny piece of Peach.

Dinner: 1/8 cup of Blue Buffalo Wilderness with 5 drops of Wesson Oil, Topped with 1/4 cup Chopped Chicken Gizzards. For dessert: I got to lick "D"s pudding cup.

Always Consult Your Veterinarian but here are my thoughts:

Shots: Here are the shots I have gotten.
1. Most Important Rabies once a year
2. Lyme Disease and a Booster when necessary
3. Leptospirosis
4. Distemper DAPP
5. Bordetella
Pills: Here are the Pills I Use
1. Monthly Heartworm
Flea and Ticks:
Personally I use K9 Advantix II it is less toxic to Humans than some others and offers better control.

(Heat Stroke, Heat Exhaustion)

Dogs cannot handle the heat the same as humans do. Dogs do not have sweat glands as humans do, except for a few on their feet. They do not perspire and can only rid their bodies of heat by panting, which is not enough when the temperature soars.
